SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting corporate goals by way of maintaining business relationships and overall customer returns, claims & chargeback activity for all business to business customers in Europe

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Controls the inflow of Disputes, either created by Cash apps, or created by the Claims and Dispute Specialist or credit controller
  • Maintain data accuracy in Dispute Management. (Including completing all required fields, updating status, reason, and root cause codes, attaching all relevant documents and maintaining notes.
  • Research operational, distribution, IT, sales allowance deductions in SAP, WM, SNC to determine validity of claims.
  • Ensuring all new disputes get resolved within maximum of 45 days after creation.
  • Communicate with customers and other company personnel, such as Customer Financial Services, Sales, Customer Service, Distribution Warehouse, Sourcing and Management to obtain details regarding the claim.
  • Entering all relevant information in our SharePoint system in order to obtain required approvals (according to the official authorization matrix) in case the dispute is valid, create and issue the credit note in or external depending on the claim.
  • Daily reporting of created credit notes to the credit collectors for clearing.
  • Log charge backs and report monthly on deductions and repayments.
  • Prepare disputes to request re-payment from customers on invalid claims.

CRITICAL SKILLS:

  • Clear, concise and organized written and oral communication skills are very important, as this position interacts with Sales, Credit, Customer Service, Logistics, Distribution, EDI, Retailers, etc.
  • Problem Solver - able to identify opportunities or issues and react quickly while being compliance driven and have the readiness to investigate and research policy and procedures.
  • Analytical – able to identify opportunities, separates issues, examines and draws conclusions
  • Compliance driven – readiness to investigate and research policy and procedures
  • Independence – ability to work with a minimal supervision after being trained sufficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Customer Service background is preferred and should have experience operating in a larger environment with complexity and multiple priorities.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • SAP experienced user is a prerequisite.
